Support revenue objectives of the company by developing content to articulate why our products are different and better than competitors in the source-to-pay market. Researches and writes content for every customer, associate or partner touchpoint that includes digital (website, social, ads), marketing collateral (case studies, webinars, product overviews) and sales collateral (sales decks, trade show presentations). Works with multiple senior stakeholders (customers, senior management, partners, analysts) to develop stories that support the objectives of the company. Stays abreast of company products and industry news to ensure effective content that achieves the company's goals. Required location working onsite in Greensboro, NC.

Specific Responsibilities:

Content

  • Be a great storyteller. Develop engaging company and product narratives that matter to the procurement, accounts payable or supplier management ecosystem.
  • Interview internal subject matter experts and customers to develop compelling stories
  • Ability to create persona-based content for product users, decision makers and executives
  • Write and edit web content, marketing collateral, blog posts, bylined articles, and other externally-facing content
  • Plan, coordinate and provide writing support for multimedia (video, audio & interactive) projects
  • Help develop internal processes for content management and production workflow
  • Develop content measurement framework & report regularly on effectiveness
  • Keep up-to-date on emerging & current content trends as well as best practices
  • Ability to build and nurture internal relationships with Sales/Business Development/Senior Management, peers, and other department staff and management
  • Procurement, accounts payable, or supplier management domain knowledge – must be able to have credible business conversations with procurement and finance executives
  • Proven ability to write, edit, and finalize content to drive engagement at every stage of the sales funnel
  • Excellent PowerPoint user that can create final presentations for executives
  • Keen eye for detail across every communication (email, reports, stories, presentations)
  • Ability to gain a complete understanding of APEX Analytix’s software, services, industries, target audiences and solutions
  • Solid project management skills, detailed-oriented and highly organized
  • Solid understanding of how to efficiently obtain required information from customers or colleagues

Experience:

  • You have 4 - 7 years experience writing content within procurement, accounts payable or supplier management technology ecosystem
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with senior colleagues and customers
  • Self-starter that can work independently or with a team to achieve goals
  • Ability to translate technical speak & product offerings into compelling messages
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shift focus quickly to late-breaking projects
  • Demonstrated understanding of all marketing communication channels
  • Please include a portfolio of relevant work with your resume
  • Preferred
    • B2B marketing communications experience
    • Supplier management, accounts payable, or master data management industry knowledge highly preferred
    • Understanding of different social media channels and content
  • Plus
    • Basic graphic design and video editing skills and experience with software like Adobe Creative Suite

  • BA or BS Degree
